EIGHT OF SWORDS
The Image
Before the backdrop of a clear starry sky, eight swords hover in even distance to one another and point in opposite directions.
Meaning
Now that man has come to recognize his creative abilities through which he creates his own reality, in the next level he is concerned with recognizing his position as an individual within creation and thereby acknowledging the limitations that hinder him in his self-realization.
The mind can set man free, as well as enslave him. Having succumbed to the world of senses, man becomes fettered by reason, if he is reduced to clinging to superficial wishes in a self-serving manner. The results are envy, hate and jealousy, as well as their effects: pain and suffering. First, critical self-observation, which goes beyond superficialities, allows the process of acknowledgement to transform into knowing, thereby creating the conditions for release from self-limitations. Experiencing his own identity, man can get back in touch with the disposition and innocence of his inner child, and formulate solid intents for the creation of his reality.
